Meeting Point: San Lorenzo Winery Castilenti (Te) 

A walk through the large estate revealing the secrets of wine production at the "Vini San Lorenzo" winery in Castilenti. In the winery, among the vineyards, ponds and old farmhouses, we will enter the world of the winemaking process, maintaining a balance between ancient traditions and cutting-edge techniques. The ancient winery, is located in the 16th-century Palazzo De Sterlich, a structure that features medieval vaults, alcoves and convivial spaces, and where a tasting of the winery's native products will take place.

Transfer to Palazzo de Sterlich in Castilenti, visit to the barrique cellar.

Tour of the vineyard with attention to the technical aspects of production (e.g., conventional farming, organic farming, tillage, vine training, yield per hectare, etc.).

Tour of the winery where production strategies and techniques will be explained. At this stage, the basics of winemaking theory will be provided in the light of which the production information provided by the producer will be explored.

Winery history.

Wine tasting: the basics of sensory analysis and tasting techniques combined with hot and cold food preparations will be introduced so that, in the form of an educational workshop, food-wine pairings can be hypothesized, tested and verified.
