On November 6th, the 2020 Michelin Guide will be officially presented in Piacenza. In the meantime, there are many questions that the world of gastronomy is asking: how many new Michelin stars will there be?
Which chefs will have the most Michelin stars in Italy? In the meantime, the organization has unveiled some details of the 65th edition of the “Red”, ie the list of Bib Gourmands, the restaurants that offer a pleasant gastronomic experience, with a complete menu less than 35 euros.
In the Michelin 2020 guide there are 25 new Bib Gourmands, for a total of 266 restaurants marked with this symbol.
The Michelin itineraries include large cities, but also smaller towns that can be reached by dirt roads. In addition to the good quality-price ratio, in the selection of Bib Gourmands it is important the passion for the table and the atmosphere that reigns in these restaurants, where often recipes inspired by tradition are proposed.
Among the 25 new Italian Bib Gourmands – who bring to 266 the total number of award-winning premises, with a prevalence of Emilia Romagna (33) followed by Piedmont (32), Lombardy (28), Tuscany (27) and Veneto (22) – Abruzzo conquers 2 new reports, namely say the restaurants Estrò di Pescara and Spoon di Teramo.
Next to them are the confirmations of Casa Elodia in Camarda (L’Aquila), La Madonnina di Opi (AQ), Taverna de li Caldora in Pacentro (AQ), Da Giocondo to Rivisondoli (AQ), Clemente in Sulmona (AQ),Locanda de l Barone in Caramanico Terme (PE), Trita Pepe in Manoppello (PE), Taverna 58 in Pescara, Osteria dal Moro in Giulianova (TE), Borgo Spoltino in Mosciano Sant’Angelo (TE), Bacucco d’Oro in Mutignano di Pineto (TE) and Tre Archi In Notaresco (TE), they bring the total number to 14, positioning Abruzzo close to the most awarded regions.
