ADI Apicoltura: pioneers of organic Italian honey

Adi Apicoltura was founded nearly 150 years ago when our great-grandfather, equipped with some hives and a few bee colonies, started what would become a family tradition.

We are located just a few kilometres outside Tornareccio, a small village in the Abruzzo region, which has been named the capital of honey. Every day we take care of the bees, producing honey in a way that respects the natural rhythms of the pollinators while also protecting the environment by choosing the nomadic beekeeping technique and organic production.

Come and visit us so we can take you on a fascinating tour where you’ll discover the magical world of beekeeping.

You’ll see the beehives, witness the honey being extracted using the cold process, and – good things come to those who wait – take part in a guided tasting session. We’ll treat you to our 100% organic Italian honeys from Le Esperienze collection and the new Biodiversità line which protects and supports the ecosystem thanks to a partnership with Fondazione Slow Food per la Biodiversità Onlus.

Book your guided tour with Adi Apicoltura and choose between tasting the honey on its own or the honey paired with local cheeses.
