“Cantine Aperte” is back again this year, organized by the Wine Tourism Movement, the largest wine festival in Europe, which has reached its 27th edition this year. In Abruzzo there will be as many as 40 winemakers who will open their doors to welcome tens of thousands of wine tourists who will travel far and wide for the region on 25 and 26 May 2019.

Hours:

  • Saturday 25 May from 15 to 20
  • Sunday 26 May from 10 to 20

Regulations:

All participants will be able to buy official Open Cellars goblet and bags (silkscreen MTV abruzzo and burgundy sack with white “laccetto”) in the first cellar visited for € 5 and will be entitled to a guided tour of the winery and tasting of 3 wines ‘company. From this year there is a small change to the regulation so there will be wineries that will continue to offer tastings even to those who will arrive in the company already equipped with the official Goblet and sack of the event while other companies will still require the payment of 5 € for the participation in its event by handing over the official goblet and bag (which we remember being burgundy with a white “string”).
